I always recommend a firstlook when discussing timelines with my couples. What exactly is a first look? This is an excellent way to capture the pure joy and excitement on both of your faces while also streamlining your portraits and taking a huge amount of stress off of you both when you'd rather be visiting with your guests. Okay that sounds great, now how does it work? 

 

After you have both gotten ready separately and the anticipation and excitement are growing, we lead you away to a secluded place where we have you turn to see each other for the first time and capture the look on both of your faces, the sweet embraces and pure joy in that moment. There are so many benefits to have a first look, you get the chance to spend some time together alone and share in the excitement. There is no pressure on either of you and your reactions will be more natural. You will have your choice of any backdrop for these images, we can take you out into the woods, in front of a spiral staircase, on the beach or whatever else your beautiful venue has to offer. We will capture both of your faces and you will have so many more images of your reactions. Plus also once you are married you get the chance to enjoy yourselves and your guests rather thank keeping them waiting and feeling pressured to hurry through portraits. Every couple who have chosen this option are so grateful that they have afterward.

At the end of the day the choice is between you and your partner alone, it is your day and it's going to be exactly how you want it. I like being able to give advise based on experience with past weddings but I always put your feelings above anything. I want every detail to be exactly how you want it to be, after all you have been dreaming of this day for so long.
